Caregiver Support Group at
Weinberg Community
Our Caregiver Support Group offers practical resources and a supportive environment for those caring for loved ones. Led by our experienced social work team, this group provides guidance, information, and a place to exchange ideas with others who understand the caregiving experience.
Meets twice per month: one session online and one session hybrid (join online or in person at Weinberg Community)
Free of charge
Everyone is welcome with registration required
Support Group Schedule & Information
1st Thursday of each month: 4 - 5 PM, virtual.
3rd Thursday of each month: 10 - 11 AM, virtual & in-person
Support group for all family members who are providing care for someone with dementia.
Led by Carrie Cutler, MSW, LCSW and Catherine Miller, BC-DMT, LCPC.

Dementia Reality for Family Caregivers

Dementia Reality for Family Caregivers is a class designed to equip family caregivers with essential tools to provide compassionate, effective care for their loved ones living with dementia.
A 2.5-hour interactive training
Designed for:
- Spouses, children, relatives, and friends caring for someone with dementia
- Individuals seeking practical skills to complement emotional support
- Faith leaders and community members who assist families navigating dementia care

This program provides a welcoming space to support and connect individuals experiencing memory loss and their care partners.
The Memory Café is:
- Typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Deerfield Public Library
- Centered around a rotating theme or activity
- Designed to foster connection, conversation, and socialization
- Free of charge and open to the public
- Reservations required

CJE’s Counseling Services
Our counseling services are staffed by a team of highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) who are specialists in the field of mental health services for seniors, aged 55+. Our team is dedicated to helping older adults improve their mental health and emotional well-being with the goal of enhancing quality of life. Our behavioral health services for seniors include individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as support groups.
Services are available via Telehealth with a video connection, in our offices and some limited home visits.
