A cornerstone of this commitment is Weinberg Community for Senior Living in Deerfield, home to Gidwitz Place for Assisted Living and The Friend Center for Memory Care, which opened in 1997. Weinberg later introduced Adult Day Services as well as proudly earned Illinois’ first-ever assisted living licensure, setting a new standard for quality care.
